Le Real s'impose 3-1 contre Pachuca et se relance

Le Real, bien qu'à dix durant presque tout le match, a donné une leçon de réalisme à Pachuca (3-1) à Charlotte. Le club madrilène a fait un grand pas vers les 8e de finale du Mondial des clubs.

Après l'exclusion précoce du défenseur Raul Asencio (7e), ce sont Jude Bellingham (35e), Arda Güler (43e) et Federico Valverde qui ont inscrit les buts madrilènes. Elias Montiel a sauvé l'honneur pour l'équipe mexicaine.

Grace à ce premier succès dans la compétition, les Merengues prennent provisoirement la tête du groupe H avec 4 points, en attendant l'opposition entre Salzbourg (3 pts) et Al Hilal (1 pt) en fin d'après-midi. Pachuca est dernier sans point marqué.
